I really thought I would never read James Patterson. I mean, he writes adult fiction which has never been a favorite genre of mine - hello, boring. But I got this book for free at the comic-con (woo hoo) and it was a fun read. Looks like it is his only foray into YA paranormal. There are 2 more in the series, which I'm going to have to get from the library. This one is called "Maximum Ride, the Angel Experiment".

I liked the second book even better. I'm tempted to pick up the third. They're fun, quick reads.
The plot reminds me of the tv show Dark Angel. Which I also enjoyed.
I should note that the third book is in a more expensive, hard cover form, and that's the main reason I'm delaying. :)
