Okay i'm only a third of the way through but i couldn't wait to post about this book. apparently it has rec'd rave reviews (how did we never hear?) and it's in paperback now so it's not too expensive. I'll definetely be picking out more stuff by Celia Rees!

yay! i'm so glad you like it. we are running out of books from the 'usual' YA authors. thanks for being the brave one - testing out all these new, delicious books :)
turns out most of her other stuff is kinda strange/creepy sounding, except for one supernatural trilogy for younger readers. huh. anyway - the book is still good! halfway through now!
