I enjoyed abandon more than Cabot's recent YA offerings. I feel like she's back in the game with this one. Also, looking forward to Overbite - her 2nd in her vampire series.
reading books we like to read, not books we like to tell people we've read.

Abandon was pretty good, but it was really short. I felt like I had barely gotten a good hold on the characters and then it was over. Kind of strange. I also didn't immediately love the characters like in the Mediator series.
She Walks In Beauty was really fascinating! I was glued to it. And now I am REALLY REALLY REALLY glad I was not born in the late 1800's.... those poor women! (and they were the lucky, rich ones!)
