This book is absolutely page turning. Think of it as the show Survivor, but lethal. Instead of getting voted off the show, you die. I couldn't put it down and finished it in a day. Downside is the sequel isn't due to be released till September 2009.Also, Suzanne Collins' series Underland Chronicles are pretty good. The first one is called Gregor the Overlander.

The library has it but there is hold list a mile long, so put it on hold ASAP if you want to read it.
My friend, Krisit Davis, recommended it to me about a month ago and I finally earned enough points on my amazon.com credit card to get it! I'm REALLY looking forward to it!
Oh, and by the way Kristen, I went ahead and added the movie North & South to it due to your recommendation! I'm looking forward to vegging out in front of the TV with that one (probably after the baby comes). I look forward to gushing with you about it!
Okay... so I got The Hunger Games in last Saturday and I had it finished by Sunday! I thought it was excellent!
The book closed with "The End of Book One" which, obviously, leads me to think that there will be a sequel but I'm torn. I just didn't feel like a sequel seemed necessary. We'll see. If there is one then I will read it.
I hear the sequel comes out this summer!
I just finished Hunger Games and it was fantastic. And HELLO of course it needs a sequel because the Games Must Be Stopped!!
